Hi, John. Here are a few things to keep in mind when considering gold assay values. There are ~ 30 grams per ounce. Low grade / cut off is often on the order of 0.03 oz/ton (for open pit mines) -- this value will depend on location, type of mine (open pit / underground, etc). Grades on the order of 0.1 are good and 0.5 are great!! There can be alot of lower grade values --> and if it covers a large area (or lots of tons of rock) then it is good.

You are right. Most juniors out ther are exploration (or exploiation). If they have a good promotor then the stocks tend to go higher. If a juniour finds the goods --> then sometimes the big companies may come in a purchase their property. This is not always the case, though. Some juniors will produce their own too.

I guess that is all I can say. I can read and understand most assay results that are given -- atleast understand the geology for sure. If you have any particular questions, please ask. Maybe I might be able to answer them.

Take care,
Mich
