>>ZIP disks are not 'throw-aways'. Not like floppies. Once people get a few they hang onto them and recycle them.<<

This goes along with what I've been saying. I have a Mac graphics friend who does A LOT of work for major Corps- and he hasn't bought a new Jaz or Zip disc in 2 years. As soon as a project is over, he burns it to CD-R for archiving. He then re-uses his Jaz and Zip discs. He has had 3 out of 6 of his Jaz discs go bad on him- he simply sends them in to Iomega and gets brand-new ones for free to replace them.

Iomega promised a razor blade model, but they didn't expect one thing--
As it turns out, THE REAL RAZOR BLADE MODEL IS IN CD-R!!!
