***off topic - metric time***

Bloody French! [Given my ancestry, I suppose I should consider them sacred, as ethnic loony fanatics are prone to do these days - usually when it involves pecuniary advantage, cushy jobs or simple egomania. Same as those of gender consider themselves wunderkind these days.]

It was really only days I thought should be metricated, because we do bump up against seasons and years and try as we might, we can't metricate 365.31415923 days in a year and the damn moon just keeps on going round every month - though since the attachment most people have to tides and baying at the moon is limited these days, we could leave months out altogether.

People do like seasons and years. Yeah, just stick with metric days and forget anything longer than a day - leave it as 7 day week, 365 7/32 day year and 28, 29, 30 or 31 day months - so children can spend eternity learning silly rhymes = 30 days hath september, april, june and november all the rest have 31 except for Feb which doesn't have Fridays on the 29th or something every four years and all the girls ask the guys to marry them...??? Yeah, great system...

10 days a week? Heck, Ramsey would like that - and 10 hours a day! Imagine some poor guy showing up on the QCP820 production line on day one for his 8 hour shift. That would leave 2 hours sleep, eat, recreation and 8 days of working to get to the weekend.

Ok, that's it! Thanks for the info John,
Mqurice

PS: Quiet day on volume and no movement towards $80 today - just an opening flurry as a few people tried to take profit, but missed as the algorithms instantly listed Q.com lower to clean them out. Then started tracking up. All good fun.
