To Seal and other responders to the John Mock post
I have always loved antagonists in any group discussion, because they act as a catalyst in helping the majority rethink their positions and get even stronger in their convictions.
We have noted several other comments to the John Mock post from PNLK LONG. Idaho Petes observations are great, but the summarization by Rob Art of PNLK com again reinforces our confidence in the depth and value of this great undertaking.

I should have mentioned that I had been President of an On Line Service company for over ten years, and am fully aware of the tremendous task of juggling hundreds of software development projects many of which are inter-dependant. It takes time. And to sit on the sidelines and criticize is non-productive.

Bully for those in the management, in-house, and out-sourced software development groups that are taking the time to clean up all the loose ends before releasing Stage 2 live with their customer base. We don't need a minute by minute accounting for their time.

Follow Idaho Pete's suggestion, hang in there, cool down and Look forward to a great 1999 and the next hundred years.

John asked why I am so optimistic in the face of undisclosed facts. I'll repeat myself by saying that even the lack of capital, or lack of huge employee base, or lack of full customer satisfaction in these early stages will not keep this tremendous idea from flying. Companies will be waiting on the side-lines hoping they can get a foot in this door before 1999 is over.

Long winded El Toro
