I gotcha now!

>>"TOWNSEND"... ROK or MOT refused to pay royalties for his
proprietary technology.<<

My COMS/USRX history book doesn't go back that far (I
bought COMS back in spring '97 when it was rising out
of the dumps)...I at times try to learn more about the
past, but all this research can be a full time job.

>>No amount of advertising can dislodge ROK's previous FUD.<<

I thought that's what you meant...but I wasn't sure...

>>I think a lot of Kflex ISP's have yet to surmise the extent of their problems going forward.<<

One thing I wonder about: will the ISPs using Kflex have to dump
their equipment to use x2 v.90? I guess I'm wondering if
the x2 v.90 modem will work well with the Kflex ISP server
equipment. I may have read something pertaining to this, but
I've forgotten the answer if there is one.

If the Kflex stuff is as bad (or worse) than we hope, some
entities trying to pump Kflex stuff may try to prolong the
FUD in hopes that Cable modems or xDSL modems will save them
from the embarrassment?<g> Hopefully, this won't happen.

>>Benny does not hype....He uses his words carefully and
they can be taken at face value<<

I do to. It seems obvious to me. But there are so many
people that think he's lying every time he opens his mouth
and they hardly know a thing about him.
