Why would any company in their right mind spend $1 billion and buy IOM? Why buy a cash bleeding dog? Would rather put $1 billion into some T-bills. Much better ROI.

Think about it. They object of a company is to make money. A company
that has no prospect of making money is not worth your (or anyones) hard earned dollars...
