Teri,

Aki, BB, Jacob, Andrew, Katherine, Ramsey... whatdoyaknow, we're doing okay so far in the semi-wars. I'm not happy that some people's stock(s) may go down, but sometimes it really does get irritating listening to the rabid bulls rant and rave.

As much as I think AMAT's press release was word for word what we have been saying for weeks, who knows what type of surprises we face Monday with this crazy market. I don't think you need to feel sorry for the people who are currently long on AMAT. Aren't you planning on going long one day and aren't you confident that AMAT will one day be trading much higher than whatever this dip may end up?

Guessing the bottom is kind of tough. With today's news, I don't think there will be any more "surprises" in this sector. What ever the reaction takes us will be the temporary bottom. Then it is going to be up to Asia, Russia and the entire market to lead the sector further down or to recovery. I am still bearish on the market so the my guess is below 20, may be not 12, is still highly likely.
