Because 3Com still owns it and is going to continue as normal.
Plus the 'chief technology officer' will be working closely
with the Palm Computer Division. He's just going to be making
software and other devices that plug into the Palm computer.
I don't think it's too big a deal.

That's why at the end of all those equations, I need to
get price cuts, etc. All you really have to do is instead
of plugging in $350.0, plug in the profit per unit. To compare
with x2 modems, we need to know how much profit per modem. (which
is probably a lot less than a Palm Computer.

Keep putting your $$ in COMS. I don't plan on using my Palm Computer
at work...I plan on using it while I'm retired from my job,
doing whatever it is I'll be doing that day.<gg> When that time
comes, Oracle and 3Com will have it all worked out.<gg>

Also, I think it's already possible to do some trading on a
Palm Pilot. A guy who use to post here wrote the program and
it is now being sold.

I think that the 'leaving chief' will be working on this.
