Whenever there's a memo or press release dealing with sensitive issues, I try to read each word and phrase as carefully as possible. I want every employee to know that the sale of Newbridge is not in the company's plans and we are not in active discussions with other companies. It's possible the memo means exactly what it appears to mean: the company's not for sale and they're not discussing the matter with anyone. However, if I were Sherlock, I'd examine every word for nuances. Having survived three teen-agers, I've learned not to take words at their face value. <g> Later --- Pat
