Just think about how the ad is carried by newspaper. AOL has two
advantange comparing with newspaper:

1) reach a large area, and reach Europe as easy as reach USA.
2) The contents can be as simple as an icon or as full as a
catelog.

May be I can add the third

3) user friendly, so one does not have to take the junk mail
to the recycle can. However, some users threat to drop if
they see too many ads.

IMO, in long term, AOL looks like a major player, in short term I see
a lot variation ahead.
