Quilty, I just signed up for SI. Aka Lwnowner. Most of my best
investments have been in deathcare industry. Lwn,srv, stei, equ are solid but not as fast as PDSF. I hope to visit pdsf when in Vegas
late Sept. I think that they are reluctant to return phone calls when the questions often involve earnings. I believe there is a quiet period where they cannot say anything. That may be why you are not hearing back from anyone. If I was CEO, I would not call shareholders. I would be interested to hear anymore info about mgmt's personality, nuances etc that make you feel so confident. You realize they made a few big blunders in past.( The indian casino that went bust and the change cart business they invested in.) The real
clincher for me is our low interest rate climate, the advantages that leasing provides for small owners, and the disposition of lease returns(which is caused by upgrades or lease expiration.) The earnings will be really favorably impacted when alot of these machines come off the lease term, and then are re-leased or sold at really nice gains.(they would be fully depreciated at that point.) Those would be huge margin leases and sales. I am a little concerned about the small profits on the termination of leases in first quarter. It seems like they sold equipment for small margins. Maybe the new leases will be written at higher margins now that the idea is gaining popularity. Thanks for referring me from yahoo to this thread, I wasn't aware anyone had started one.
