This product has never made a sizable dent in Iomega's market share - therefore the market has determined that backwards compatibility to floppy is meaningless. You can convince yourself all you want, but that issue has already been fought and clearly won by Iomega.

It will be interesting to see which drive iMac buyers opt for. Given that the iMac doesn't come with a standard floppy, don't you think floppy compatability is a big selling point for the LS120? Also, don't you think the LS120 is more attractive than Zip for laptops?
