justa, if you have no comment then... attack the motives of the poster? you lost me there...

btw, issue is that amat and utek are not good investments now. bob thinks they are. that was the point of the original post. your selective prooftexting, notwithstanding. does bob have an opinion on those two companies? it is you who doesn't discuss these issues that were clearly brought out in that post.

you can focus on mu, which was clearly brought up in light of amat and utek's problems (again, does brinker have an opinion on these companies?), or you can realize that there is some nerve that was hit that got you all upset so you attacked my motivation rather than working through the impact of 1. crappy fundamentals for utek's and amat's customers and 2. mania style investing mentality of amat's end customers.

of course, this kind of stuff is much less relevent than my motivation, right? ;-)

i would put forth that your time would be better spent on 1. figuring out why you felt the need to attack instead of discuss and 2. find out why you are focusing exclusively on mu and, apparently, trying to make it sound like the whole post was out of context with this thread - when it clearly wasn't.

i don't feel picked on, though, i KNOW you were trying to attack my motivation for bringing up mu in the context of amat and utek. i will defend myself and my thought processes. reread the post and see if i'm not right.
