I haven't played EGGS at all but I looked at it today with a thought to going long. Problem is, EGGS has a float of 12 million with about 10% short interest. The other Internuts which soared - YHOO, AMZN, LCOS, etc. - all had much smaller floats and much higher short interests.

Same problem for TAVA longs. The share dilution created a large float and made squeezes much harder.

Unless there is serious institutional buying of EGGS - which could happen - it will have a hard time running. The EGGS float is about 10x KTEL's float. Right now 65 institutions hold 58% of EGGS (though I'm never sure if that % is of all shares or just the float). Could be a "follow the leader" trend as fund managers join the parade.

Thoughts anyone?
