Thanks.
I'm surprised that the Pentium MMX and Tillamook had die sizes that large but from what Yousef and Elmer have told me, what Intel loses in die size they make up somewhat, in yield, due to the design of the chip. On the other hand, if the Mendocino is 160mm2 and the K6-2 is 81mm2 doesn't Intel have to yield twice the percentage of chips to get the same number of chips out of a wafer?
