IMHO ... They will figure out a way to cut that loss...

Wouldn't it just take a well placed downgrade... say the day before options expiration.. due to some made-up or dredged-up old reason.. (like AMD earnings disappointment, Intel missing the whisper number,Asia, Japan, CPQ troubles being attributed to industry rather than their sorry management, etc.)to turn the tide for morning and leading up to options expiration time.
If this kind of blatant manipulation would occur for a day, I would not be a bit surprised.

They don't even have to publish their retraction the next week.
I hope it happens (and the SEC can prove the collusion).

Other possibility is they have already read the tea leaves and bought back those options. Is there any way to tell?
