INKT is yet another example of a stock that went public before it had a real track record. How do you value such a company? It's mostly expectations, and Internet stock expectations are tulip-mania at the moment. The trouble is that what goes up can go down - and even quicker than it went up. Don't stand under these stocks when they start to fall.

NTAP has a great track record and should not allow itself to be hyped with the INKT-type stocks. I'm in favor of setting realistic expectations - and then meeting, or beating, them, every time.

BTW, what did our noble leader do to cool the momentum players 18 months ago?
