Well I am hesitant to continue this conversation as it is truly off topic but as the majority of the postings on here are of that characteristic I don't feel so bad. I don't misunderstand. I can appreciate your sentiment but the concept of "freedom of speech" was conceived for the purpose of manipulation. I realize some people will find this objectionable but there is no need to protect speech that isn't controversial. The proper way I see to handle the situation is if Phillips is so concerned with slander than he should bring in a slander suit in civil court. I don't know how things work in Canada but that's how they work in the USA. My guess is that he knows such a case would not only be DOA but also set a precedent that would end his wild idea once and for all. I reckon I'll stick to Trumanisms on this one.
