Doesn't care about what? As an add-on, Zip doesn't need floppy compatibility because there's already a floppy. Take away the floppy and I think people would start to care. (Case of iMac and laptop).

No, I don't think the LS-120 is more attractive on a laptop. Have you tried to run a multimedia presentation from an LS-120 on a laptop?

No, and I don't know why you'd need to do that.
