Gee, Don, I had not realized what it would take to break even if one were unfortunate enough to buy high.

Is there such a thing as a buy-and-hold, one-decision stock? I used to think so, but I am not so sure. I have done very well hanging on to Intel, but it has been languishing for a while now. I bought GM a long time ago, and finally unloaded it a few years back for a modest gain not much better than gov't bonds. I really thought I was on to something with semi-equip stocks up until last fall and have humbled by my ignorance since then. I am about ready to sell it all and by Yahoo, or maybe electric utilities.
