Any comments? The point is that just the ZAP brand name, without any real business attached, is worth $30 per share.

<< One of our specialties is doing brand name analysis. We have very powerful proprietary tools for indexing valuations on these, including access to multi-national, multi-lingual proprietary research databases.

Now, one of the things a profitable holding company learns to do very quickly is manage their assets for huge profits (and massive benefit of their stock holders). Brand names and domain names on the internet are assets and can be very valuable.

Friends, ZAP owns one of the most valuable brand and domain names in the world. Our analysis shows that it alone (forget any successful
businesses behind it or anything else making money) is worth $30/share. And this is not a share price valuation, or multiple or projection. This is a CASH value. We repeat: The ZAP brand/domain name alone is worth $30/share CASH.

Our projections into the turn of the century, as domain recognition value becomes ever more valuable on the internet, goes off our charts if the need for international domain recognition intensifies (which it almost surely will).

"ZAP" has astronomically high positive-response indexes and characteristics in dozens of languages (to get an idea of what this means compare, for example, ZAP vs. ICK, for a native English speaker). In Romance languages and English it has near 100% retention after only ONE hearing. It has remarkably high retention in Asian languages (particularly Japanese). How many times do the Chinese have to hear "Netscape" before it is retained permanently? ZAP is one of the few known brands that has such positive characteristics across both European and Asian languages. There are very, very, very few possible brand and domain names with multi-language mnemonics and associations anywhere near as good.

Folks, this company owns one of the most valuable domain names on the planet. Do not underestimate the power of this. Nor the value of it if they ever decide to sell it or exploit it even half-decently (which their recent moves indicate they are more than capable of doing).

Now, corporations hate for people to discuss Brand Name Analysis in public. People pay big money to make sure you don't even realize there is such a thing. They just want the brand names to work on you. Unconciously, if possible. "Say, that sounds ... catchy, doesn't it?" and leave it at that.

We happen to know that (even before the last few days flapping over ZAP) when Zapata registered for the ZAP change a certain article was being prepared on this name by a certain writer. This article is to appear in a major US newspaper. Its editors have held back publication for the moment and called for more research and rewriting in light of recent developments. But people pay big bucks to keep things like this from getting to you, so at this time we are no longer sure whether this article will appear or not, or when. But we can assure you the day it does, you won't be able to touch this stock for 17, or 20, or 24 or whatever else you have paid for it in the last few days, ever again. Guaranteed. >>
