Paul,
RE:"Are you looney?

Of course!

Eisner has indeed made a fortune - ON DISNEY's STOCK !

Most of his compensation has come from Stock Options which have become enormously
valuable BECAUSE DISNEY'S STOCK HAS SOARED under Eisner!

The company is fabulously successful - as is it's stock performance - BECAUSE of
Eisner!

When Eisner took over Disney in 1984, the company was a joke, headed for oblivion.

The comparison to Sanders is 100% ABSURDLY WRONG!

AMD shareholders - and employees - have benefited NADA from Sanders - but Sanders
has continued to rake in a huge salary and has managed to get his options repriced
consistently, then SELL at opportune times."

There you go again with the insults.
Surely you remember when the Disney board of directors voted Eisner a 40 million dollar payoff a few years back? Sure Disney has done well but I don't give a d@mn..., just giving someone 40 million is absurd.
One of the highest paid CEOs is the CEO of a company called Cyprus Amax, the stock has gone from 30 to 13 in the last year or so. But the CEO still gets his. Look how much they have to give some of the losers just to get rid of them. Scully from Apple for one, Roger Smith from General Motors for another, not to mention what they had to give Ross Perot to get him off the board, and he was trying to clean up the fat cat compensation.
Obviously you don't know a lot about corporate compensation. When a company does well, sure it masks it but it doesn't make it any less nauseating.
