Rob most of the news about intel was positive in the last few days but all of them talk very near term. PE would be defined by future growths potential of the company. If you think that the company can maintain the growths rate it experienced in the last few years then higher pe might be justified on another hand if the growths would be substantially slower then it can hit very low PE.
