Mike,

If you want to make some good money shorting then may I suggest Micron. Micron just ended a short squeeze on Friday and appears destined to fall back into the low 20's. I have been able to make a quick point on both Thursday and Friday. As for internet stocks I won't touch them--I have had my ass burned too many times. I did make 7k on shorting Yahoo last December--I thought it was getting overdone in the high 60's/low 70's. I lost 75k shorting AOL when it had that massive 10 point run up in the winter. I don't know how you trade MIKE but even with a system that executes in about 2 to 3 seconds, sometimes the system is so clogged with in line electronic traders that my trades don't execute or I get a market maker decline even preferancing on the level II screen.

As for Vivus, it seems like it never wants to break out to the upside and keep going North but just when you think it has become another Orthologic or Aklaim it just starts moving back into life. My gut feeling is that we will see this company sold in the near future. If I am right I think I will get my chicken after all. Good luck to you Mike.
