Why Holland is not in the final?
Because players of caliber like Seedorf(especially him) and Kluivert (gutless, refuses to score) play the WHOLE 90 minutes!! Why? What is the coach and the 3 technical advisors(??) thinking? Obviously, there is noone to replace them with...if not, the coach and the 3 advisors are stupid!. So let's take out Bergkaamp and bring Van Hon,Hoopla, Honndic whatever! Holland had a chance to show that they clearly had the best team in the WC (they believe it still anyway)....and then it was all over before he started...Seedorf was in!
Why when Davids gets the ball you get a feeling that something great may happen and when Seedorf gets the ball, you automatically slow down lay back on the couch and after a few seconds you shake your head not believing this guy is still in the game!!
I liked Zenden (Golazo), Overmars, DeBoer, Jonk, Cocu....but you could tell there was no urgency in the Dutch today, obviously to McVeigh, eeehr I mean Van der Saar.
The Croats congrats. But I still don't like this team. They are boring to watch and they are MASTER divers. Suker had a divine interception....he woke up and had the tournament of his life...a guy permanently benched in Real Madrid. And then the dives, and the laugh at the end of the game after he won another foul from a masterful dive. And then Bilic....whenever I see this guy I think automatically snitch, a guy who will stab you in the back....he said Blanc deserved the red card., then he was making some gestures to the crowd who was booing him...Okay, I must admit I am a little harsh on these guys because they advanced with Denmark ahead of Greece in WC qualifying!
