Even worse than the earnings warning itself, was the way the company handled it. Clearly this news had "leaked" out within the first hour of trading on Tuesday, yet the company waited until mid afternoon to halt the stock; and still didn't have a news release until very late in the day. Hopefully the company can keep a tighter lid on internal news, and release it in a fashion where all investors have equal access to it (or as close to equal as possible). At this point ($8 5/8) the stock appears attractively valued, but until management can regain some credibility, I doubt FTI will be moving higher anytime soon. Maybe they should change the name back to Forensic Technologies.
