JJ Your not missing anything.... Remember that when the RS is in X's, it is out preforming the market... It can take a long time for a signal to change from RS sell to Rs buy and vise versa.. The Column of the RS signal being in X's is what is important...Yes sometimes the issue can stay in a buy Signal or Sell signal in RS but look at a couple of the stocks listed in the Zacks study and you will see that they can change column much more frequently than changing Signals to Buy or Sell...

After this, I will look to see the effect of selling if the issue changes from X's into O's via RS ...

So much to look at, you want to help???

The Zacks 1998 data review took about 7 hours in total and 1997 has taken about 6 hours thus far and it's not entered into Excel yet, that is tomorrows project...
