I did think of that, several years ago when I read Templeton left the country. We even discussed it here over a year ago. The rationale was (for me) to claim Irish citizenship and trade from Bermuda because of the various tax advantages I would have. The only requirement I would have to meet in Bermuda would be that I have to purchase a Bermudian home worth a minimum of 1.2 million or thereabouts. I really did research it; but until my kids are in college I have the concept on hold.
