In today's pharmaceutical world, Big Pharma will not market a product unless it can bring in a minimum of $250 million a year and show growth over a 5-10 year period. Under these parameters, I believe a buyout or MUSE domestic partner will not occur for VVUS. Moreover, if you can sell your field force in a month, you should have been able to find a domestic partner....if one ever existed. I believe that Leland openly announcing that selling the company is a viable option is a major sign of weakness. I have had several offers of larger companies to purchase my company. The answer is always "absolutely no". The reason; I am confident my company will be worth a lot more in the future under its current management (me). Best of luck with your investments!
