I spent several hours today reviewing 10Q's and 10K's over the past 3 years. Ironically, RDRT suffered similar fate in the 2nd half of 96 during the transition from ? to inductive. Then, they acquired another technology believing that it would follow when in reality, MR was the dominant new technology. However, RDRT woes, IMO, have been exacerbated by the drop in demand and the cyclical slump. Despite all of the rumblings, it is now apparent that RDRT has completed its positioning in MR and is awaiting a cyclical turn. Thus, RDRT is now positioned for the MR ramp. At issue, however, is the preparation for GMR. Stitch - any thoughts here. My assumption is that they are moving ahead rapidly and will not make the same mistakes due to Mark Re's presence. I have also heard that Mark Re will ultimately be promoted to president and the street, IMO, will love this. Stay tuned!! the STUD |
