The first patent covers various delivery methods for phentolamine (e.g. transmucosal). The patent actually downplays oral administration. For months, Zonagen shills tried to spin this patent by claiming that Vasomax would be placed under the tounge. The patent was indeed paid for with stock (I'm not sure if additional cash was involved.). The second patent was owned by a former Zonagen emplyee and only covers a certain mixture of inert ingredients and a disintegrant - the so-called "fast acting" formulation. Problem is that oral phentolamine is hardly "fast acting". Shills tried to spin this one as well. <<Also, the clinical trial suggest that Zonagen is helpful in treating ED>> Bullsh*t.
