Win98 Two screens You'll be happy to know that Win98 doesn't like the Cyrix Media GX bus and sound chip. Dare I try installing it on my Intel Atlantis MB!!! Incidentally have you actually tried to install Win98 on any system yet with two graphics adapters? ================== Win98 is more stable than Win95 but it appears to have weak driver support for the depth of already existing components out there. So there are some real problems that you can run up against. One way to get past the compatibility issues is simply to pop a cheap hard disk drive into your system (Maxtor in my example has an inexpensive 5gig drive with a disk to disk full copy software diskette program), put your old drive on IDE cable two as a secondary master and your new drive on IDe cable one as a primary master and make a total mirrored copy of your existing system from one drive to another. Then uncable your old drive and install Win98. If the Win98 installation fails to satisfy you, you just disconnect the new drive from the primary IDE cable and plug that IDE cable into the old drive and reboot in Win95. Isn't technology wonderful?
