I do not think there is a single one of us here who particularly enjoys the conflict that has been going on here for the past couple of days.
My Dad always used to tell me that if you didn't stand for something, you would fall for anything, and I very much believe in that. That is what has been going on here for the past few days.
Yes, we do get heated, and yes, we do even get hostile. But that is merely a measure of the passion we feel for what we believe, and certainly not a matter of testicles nor testosterone, (of which I proudly claim to have NONE)
There are lots of people asking for peace on this thread. Everyone would like to have peace, and everyone would like for none of this to have happened, and everyone would like for this stock to be at $50 a share. But due to circumstances beyond ANYONE'S control here, that is just not how it is.
I saw someone on this thread being openly attacked, and I defended what I know myself to be truth. If that makes me a bad person, then I suppose I will just have to be a bad person, because if given the choice again, I would act in exactly the same way.
What I do not like, however, are those who will not say what they think. I obviously disagree with Dusty's posts, but I do respect her for standing up for what she believes.
Conflict and/or war are a part of the human element that have been around since the beginning of time, and is considered a natural device for the purging of the weak.
So, those who want to pass the peace pipe around are probably better served to take their granola bars and seek world peace somewhere else, cause I don't think they are going to find it here. If a social club atmosphere is what people are looking for, real life usually is a better place than the internet to find it.
This is in no way meant to be a flame or attack, merely an observation and opinion. I have far more respect for those who are willing to stand up and defend what they believe than I do for those who just want to make peace. Money and peace never have gone hand in hand, and they never will.
