CA = MOST DISGUSTING COMPANY IN AMERICA
Folks, most of you are interested in this company for investment purposes, however you should be aware that this company is is no different than those companies that uses child labor to produce goods that are resold in America.
CA has been able to survive thru the leadership of a Chinese Dictator and a Sri Lankan lacky. It truly ashames me that these two guys has dug deep to bring their history to the shores of America. They run CA like a POW camp. Their employees are motivated by terrorist means. Charles will go to the press and media and "talk" about how much he cares about his people. He treats his people like garbage.
Lets examine a typical CA employee:
The Inner Circle employee - If you are one of these guys. you are kissing serious ass and making lots of money - This small group will kill their grandma if need be to please Charles.
VP's & SVP's this group wants to be in the inner group, before they can be granted entry, they must prove that they are heartless, they must kill one of their co-workers - backstabbing is promoted at CA. The bigger the backstabber you are the more you are admired - larger group of people
Managers - these pepole will continue to work at CA knowing damm well that the place sucks. The reason that they stay is that they have a good title and fall into that "comfort zone". They plow on working in fare and are generally miserable, their home life sucks, their family is secondary and generally they will continue on the same track until they hit a certain salary scale - then they are wacked and CA will bring up another sucker from the ranks.
Worker bees - these people are generally the entry level folks that run CA. They do the work -and get $20 -30k, they work for CA because generally they are taken aback by the glitter of the place when they first start. The "tour" is very nice - HR gives the tour stating "we have a Gym, Child care (most of them can't afford the damm place!) and we have been voted the best place to work - the voters were Charles, Sanjay and the other ass kissers)
Most of these people go to CA because they know very little about the company and its horrible history. They quickly find out when their child or family member gets sick and they are made to feel guilty about tending to them. The life span of the worker bee is 1-2 years.
Recently they made a bid for CSC. $9B - It was a shame that the deal did not go thru. If it had, it certainly would have bankrupt CA - Why, well lets consider this. CSC was sought mainly for the Service arm of the company. Had the deal gone through, most of the consultants would have quit. These people are seasoned pros who know the industry and know the devil. Who in their right mind would stick around and work for a communist? Thus, CA would have paid $9b for a shell of a company.
Further speculatation -- I believe that the other half of CSC business (data ctr outsourcing) would have been sold off to EDS. If you recall, CA was in the outsourcing biz in the early 90's with a joint venture with "NEWTREND" it went bust. Thus I strongly speculate that EDS and CA were in colusion in the acquistion and break-up of CSC.
I applaud - Van Honycutt in his strong stance.
Let CA acquire Sybase - most of those folks will quit. and again they will destroy a great company and its product. The products will go through the "chop shop" and be renamed Charles new kid (think he is expecting again).....Ingres' hybrid is Jasmine!
