If this is mundane how do you think government will function? For example: Medicare/medicade sends 1 BILLION payments a year 50 mil
lines of code assesment phase not done.Social security 30 mil checks
a month 33 mil lines of code been working on it for 10 years with
27 mil lines to go.FAA is scrapping its 10 1980 main frames because IBM says they wont work past 1999 And they wont support them.FAA
plans to start complete replacement in middle of 1999.Could they be
up by 2003?IRS is toast real concern is no refunds in 2000.Defense department is toast,3 billion lines of code assesment phase not done.
How well will an ageis or aircraft carrier function. How many imbedded
systems on a abrams tank,f-16,cruise missle, blackhawk.I am sure that nukes have imbedded systems what is a nuke to do when its chip
tells it that it hasnt been maintained in 100 plus years?
