Fred Goldman and O.J. are sinners plain and simple. God defines sin as a crime against Him, regardless of how severe YOU think the sin is. Sin's penalty needs to be paid, regardless of what YOU think the penalty should be. How are Fred Goldman and O.J. reconciled to God? Through faith in Christ. Once this is done with an honest and repentant heart, God forgives the sin and will embrace the sinner rather than punish him. All too often we try to define what right and wrong are based on the musings of our minds. The result is an infinate number of moral legal codes, why not stick to the standard code establish by the One who will execute judgement according to that code - GOD! Our standards constantly change based on our age, experience or the morality of the day. Does a changing standard of right and wrong seem good? Stick to what God says is right and wrong and move forward from there, His codes of conduct are eternally and unshakeably established. All sins, regardless of how severe you perceive them, are an affront against a Holy God. Lying and murder are sins and are punishable before God. Bob
