Hi Dee Dee. I don't think many citizens of the world play the stock market. They may be invested but it is in funds not individual accounts. I agree that the world is very screwed up. Thats simply because every one WANTS but few are willing to pay the PRICE .The stock market is a financial institution even though it is easy to forget.. It is the basis for most of our industry obtaining funds and does need to keep the thought of investing in the front. I get concerned when it gets the crap shoot feeling. Market makers and momentum players can tear things up pretty badly. With enough money you can just about guarantee making money in a stock like Sand but you are going to tear up a lot of people who then leave. The big guys go on to new games and the investors and the company are left poorer. I hate it when a stock I am interested in flies around because you get scared to get others involved. I know some serious players who have scaled back. not because of the stock but because of the volatility. Sand has done nothing but accomplished the path of progress laid out by the management.Nothing to deserve the wild swings caused by the players.
I understand it , I just don't like it. The reason is there are certain things needed to make a stock a success no matter what the company is doing, and players make that difficult to achieve for their own selfish purposes. It is not long term damage, it just makes things take longer. I hope they have left the Sand area, and I think they have. The stability comes when the facts become more important than the smoke.
All this with only one cup of coffee. Wow!!
