Hank, I agree that 12% might not be significant enough for the FDA to approve the drug. Time will tell. However, this was not my argument. Bill made the statement that there was no evidence whatsoever that oral phentolamine was helpful for the treatment of ED; my argument is that the trials do suggest some benefit. BTW, most of my research was supported by the NIH and NSF. A small amount was supported by several drug companies via a University grant, but that was years ago. Currently, I am in private practice and not doing research.
