Well more of a pseudo-Internet stock, but,...you're right, WAVO is ripe to explode this week. When to sell, or in some cases, when to short or cover! With over 6 million shares of volume on a Friday, there's just no predicting what might happen on a Monday, is there?

That's why it's just so much safer to be long than short!

Here's another one from Yahoo:

The sudden move up of WAVO prompt a lot of posts here with opinions ranging from negativity to 100 banger speculators. Understanding Wavo requires both imagination and knowledge in what the market and future trend of internet will evolve into. First of all WAVO is not an internet browser in the true sense like Yahoo, or Infoseek. To group Wavo as an internet stock is both misleading and obsure in the Wavo's
true domain.

Wavo is a form of media broadcasting to your PC in a non-interactive and unsolicited manner. It is fast, and if you configured it efficiently, it will provide you with data that is personalized. However, it cannot interact with you as a browser would. A lot of negativity arises when posters here raise the doubt when comparing internet browser with Wavo's non-interactive manner. This is very misleading because people are erroneously thinking of Wavo in the sense of being a internet browser. The question here should be if one has Wavo does it mean that we don't need a browser ? Definitely NO !!!!.

Wavo's function is to enhance ones web-surfing capability. Wavo's function provide a multi-tasking ability for any surfer. The most up-to-date info Wavo provides and the URL links will provide any user a short cut via the phone line to get to any specific sites. This is the beauty of Wavo. It elminates any bottle-neck by providing a multi-tasking ability. How many times, we see power PC users having more than one PC on their desktop with duplications of phone lines, software, hardware etc just so that you can get information concurrently. Wavo's data-broadcasting is fast, up-to-date and stored on your localized hard disk for immediate access.

Compare someone without Wavo, one does not have a choice, but to use the internet for searching. We all know how slow that can be and any graphical intensive paging just slows everything down because the internet can only provide you with 1 page of information. Constant refresh in paging back and forth requires internet interaction.
I am surprised that a lot of posters are negative on Wavo's non-interactive feature.

That's exactly why Wavo's demand will increase because of its function to work more efficiently with the browser by not needing any additional modems, phone lines, hardware (other than a tuner card) etc, etc, etc.

Microsoft and Intel's vouching of Wavo prove to us of their
solution to the limitation of the internet browser.

Once and for all, Wavo is NOT Yahoo or Infoseek. It is a form
of media that users never know they need it, but once they used it, cannot imagine being without it. It provides a clever and beautiful solution to today's internet limitation.
