Thank you Bob (and Larry), I appreciate having the opportunity to post on SI as well as the opportunity to help TMMI.
Hey folks, let's try something new.
Let's try to focus on helping the company for the next week. As each of you prepares to submit a post, read it one time through, and ask yourself if you are posting anything that may be perceived as a personal attack on another individual. I'm not suggesting that we all hug and be friends, nor am I suggesting that we stop asking prudent and legitimate questions. What I am suggesting is that we call a cease fire-no more bashing, just like the anti-drug phrase, "Just say no."
Everyone here is an intelligent human being, and each of us deserves to be treated like we ourselves would like to be treated. We are ALL entitled to express our opinions, frustrations, and questions. Just remember that communication and how it is perceived (in all forms) is the primary responsibility of the communicator.
No one should have to be made to feel that they need defend themselves. Joking and `playing around' is one thing. But some of this has gone too far.
Let's take the new direction of our company as an opportunity to change the direction of our efforts and our posts.
Give it a try, you might be surprised.
Thanks and good luck to all!
Michael
P.S. Tom, I'm going to send you an e-mail. |
