If I can jump in here on the topic of the Mcdough investment 'club' - It is anything but a club, just a slightly different twist on an internet tout sheet. Apparently a lot of people put faith in the premise that everyone buying at once would create interest in the featured stock to fuel more buying. Unfortunately for those who tried, in every case (amc.v thw.a dba.v ool.v goe.v sgu.v ced.v and a couple more I think) those buying as instructed bought at the high, only to quickly see a rapid decline. While there may be merit in owning some of the club picks, the idea was for them to be day trades, which resulted in some rather costly transactions for followers. Clearly someone was selling into the buying created by followers, and it isn't hard to guess who. It appears the 'club' has run out of followers, as the intent is to now change it to a buy and hold newsletter format.

The person(s) behind the club may not be that far away. Check out posts #105965 and 106030 at stockhouse.com. Also compare the writing style and content of the individual that wrote them with the Emails from McDO, as well as the companies that individual has posted to. Interestingly, many of the various aliases at the bobz.com forum sound quite similar to these as well.

In summary, the only way on ecould profit from McDo was to short his picks just after they were made. I know someone who did this with several, including THW.
