Let's see MSFT has a PE around 42 and DELL has it pegged at 26...DELL has to rise 62% to reach MSFT's present PE...

Has GATE had the same margins/revenues/EPS over the last 2 quarters as DELL...I haven't looked but i would highly doubt it...

DELL is trading at a large discount to it earnings growth compared to GATE nad CPQ..

Also, if you were a fund manager and you had a chance to sell the stock after a split at $55.625 or hang on bceause you thought it still had more room to run, would you necessarily sell...and tell your clients that you thought you'd sell since you had another stock that split or hold on for furhter gains....

Usually stocks split becasue the price is too high, because earnings are coming in....Did fund maagers sell INTC and MSFT when they split before??? Respectfully, I beg to differ...
