Fugazi,

I wouldn't call it a crap shoot, just riskier than the average investment. IMHO, Tuna is right. PC right now is where TV was 30 years ago, and INTC is in a similar position to MOT's, ZE's and RCA's position then. All decided eventually to get in other businesses. IDT is poised to profit from this change in fundamentals. As long as PC prices come down and sales increase, IDT will win. Still WC is a small part of the equation, despite looming investment in ramp. Communication IC's should continue to grow at 30%. IDT is also poised to profit from this as long as their products remain competitive and pricing improves. IDT is a very large percentage of my portfolio and that may not make sense today or ever according to portfolio theory or my own tolerance for risk, but investment in IDT is sound as part of a diversified portfolio for those can tolerate the risk.
