Agreed!!! A split is absolutely NO reason to sell, nor is it any reason to buy! Two quarters will always be equivalent to a fifty-cent piece, except maybe when you're trying to buy a Coke out of a Coke machine :o)!. To me, a split is indeed great, but only because it means a stock's price has risen enough to warrant the split in the first place.
