Bobby,
the short term trader might just be wrong. I admit it, I'm viewing this conspiracy thing a little on the big side right now. He could well be right.
What I'm looking at is that unchanged + losers less than winners for last week.
What he has going for him is the great amount of stupid money willing to buy at top and support the growing bubble. I am simply shocked by the number of people out there who are slamming money into S&P index funds every week without reguard to valuations.
I've heard, of late, people saying these Lies on the radio talk investment shows:
1. The S&P has always gone up over a 5 year period
2. The DIJA will be higher in 3 years
3. The US dollar will never get weaker
4. Gold will provide no protection if the dollar gets cheaper
5. The DIJA has always gone up over a seven year period
These sort of things are simply too self serving.
