I have never tried, since I have always been on the purchasing end, not the vendor. But I would think that a small company might be happy to brag about its federal sales.

Is the company you referred to public or private? If they are public, they might be constrained in what they can say about sales which affect that quarter's earnings. But a private company might be happy to tell you if XYBR's product is moving out the door.
