Dear Jim and G.

I am long Roper because I like the potential. To change the direction of a company, nay a public company, takes balls. We know that it would have been nice if Rick Watson had managed to squeeze this past the exchange but that was not going to happen. As a consequence we are halted. I do like the potential here as the deal stays the same. With regards to G's wittering on trying to spread dissention I find it mildly tiresome. I am dissappointed that this thread is being made less attractive to any serious investors as a tool to be used whilst doing one's due diligence as frankly the quality of some posts has dropped. I can live with this although the number of contributors has diminished which suggests that I might not be alone in my thoughts about justifying my time posting here. Molson's dad wouldn't pay two cents to contribute and who can blame him. Jim Bishop is I am sure a diligent, intelligent investor who sticks with it. Good on you, Jim. Frankly, I am tempted not to having just read the last few days postings on this thread.

With regard to J.D.:- Who answers the phone at Roper? Well somebody always does. That is what counts. With regard to the resumption of trading of Roper shares. It either will happen or it will not. I believe that it will. G wants everyone to believe that there is something not right here, yet he has no substance in his accusations.

Until I know more I will not post here again, nor will I enter into tiresome speculation.
