Larry, I just wanted to see how many of you would start wondering on the thread. UPDATE FROM THE BIG "O" Wyse: Sales continue to be good, with June starting to pick up considerably. They have a new product line "15 series" released at the end of June. I think they are going to do very well. They are increasing their sales force and presently have more sales people than all the rest combined. Watch for them to start picking up some large sales. Boundless: Sales for Boundless is good. They have made some good changes and look like they have a direction. I named two more people to manage Boundless (one east and one west) last week. I expect sales to be very good the last six months. They do need more people on the street and I hope they expand in this area. Also look for some large sales to happen for them also. NEOWARE: They are making some changes in their model and I think something will happen "Company Wise" shortly. UCSI thinks they have a great product, but we will put more emphasis on other products shortly. This is not to say they will not be a player. Our sales started to really take hold, had a lot working---but not enough volume at this point. They had a ----- qtr. and will be making a lot of changes. Great people, great product, but they need -------jump start. I think they will get it. NCD: They are starting a channel from direct sales to distribution. UCSI will be concentrating on the "THIN STAR". Interest is good. If they get their channel in place they will do very well. Others: Several other vendors have entered the market and after looking at these vendors I don't see a major fifth player, however some interesting things are happening and UCSI is evaluating these products. Microsoft Terminal server has been delayed until the end of July or first of August. CE and RDP along with ICA (CITRIX) will start to pick up (last QTR). UCSI had the best Qtr. in thin clients that we ever had---we expect a 25-50% increase this QTR. What else do you and the other people that read the tread want to know. Maybe I can tell and maybe I can't. I hope all the competion that reads this thread got something out of this also (HA, HA) Great things are happening!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BIG "O"
