I, for one, don't care about purging the weak.
We want to share information on Midland's future. If anyone posts cleary misleading or innacurate information, it can be simply corrected without emotion. And I'm not directing that at you, or anyone in particular. I paid my dues to follow discussions on my significant investment in Midland P's, C's and W's. And if I had a nickel for everytime someone, or Gary himself, repeats that Gary honest, that Gary was the one that triggered the facts, and many other items that are important but would have much more impact by updating or re-publishing a specific reference/history post, I might be able to reimburse us all. At this point, Gary's integrity is trusted, or it's not.
It's true, sometimes you have to take a position. You take it, you hold it. Silence can be powerful. We have people here taking the same position, repeating it over and over and over, then others getting nastier and rude as we go along with the repetitiions. We have '...the lady doth protest too much...' disease on this thread, no reference to sex intended. I submit this HAS become more a social club where people are defending their honor to a large audience that already 'gets it'.
Meanwhile, DF-144, the future prospects of Midland, a status update and plans re: the trust, take a back seat. That's what I hope to see reversed, by a collective effort to not take inflammatory bait, which is obvious when posted by whomever.
I have PM'ed these sentiments before, to no avail. Sorry for the long reply, Binder. Take care.
