Personally, I hope ASND does go it alone and does well. I would rather have market liquiditiy of ASND stock versus inflated currency of LU stock. And if the Yahoo's of the world are a gage of the potential of small upstarts then maybe ASND can do fine by itself. They are playing well with all the players and leaving their options open. There is LU stuff inside the 550 ATM switch. They play nice with any and all WDM vendors. They seem to have an open end structure to the connections in the market. So maybe they can pull it off. I'd have to say Mory has changed directions, or tacked this sail boat a few times, to account for the wind. My guess is this sailor has a few more map headings in mind. With their balance sheet I am sure he'll keep the boat afloat. Michael will grab the tiller if he gets near going aground. IMHO, Dennis
